Not all Hunger Games fans appreciated some of the earlier parodies of The Hunger Games, but here is one that I think everyone will enjoy. Sesame Street presents: “The Hungry Games-Catching Fur.” Cookie Monster portrays Cookieness Evereat because “May the cookies be ever in your flavor.”
There are some really cute lines like “What do you think Pita?” “How should I know? I’m just a piece of bread!”
The whole thing is definitely meant to be taken lightly and isn’t really making fun of the Hunger Games (unlike some of the other parodies). There are actually some educational moments for kids like completing the pattern of apples and bananas. But really I think it’s just a fun nod to the series that parents will enjoy watching with their kids.
