The book promises that you will get to “go behind the scenes of the making of The Hunger Games with exclusive images and interviews. From the screenwriting process to the casting decisions to the elaborate sets and costumes to the actors’ performances and directors’ vision, this is the definitive companion to the breathtaking film.”

Scholastic has announced a new Hunger Games: Collector’s Edition that will be released as a special gift edition for the holiday season. The box is available for pre-order from Amazon right now for $20.56 and is eligible for free Super Saver Shipping. If the price goes down before the release date, Amazon will only charge you the reduced lower price.
We do not know much yet about the gift set except that the set will include a “special slipcase featuring exclusive new mockingjay artwork.” We’ll post more as we get more information.
The Hunger Games: Collector’s Edition will be released November 28, 2011.

The third and final book of the Hunger Games Trilogy, Mockingjay, will be released August 24, 2010. It is currently available for pre-order on Amazon for $8.49 (free Super Saver Shipping available). Here’s what we know so far from the description:
