Lots of fun stuff this week for Hunger Games fans. The most exciting news was probably the poster release, but it is also fun to hear from the actors themselves what they have to say about Mockingjay.

Lionsgate finally revealed the first poster featuring Katniss for Mockingjay, through the OLTM mobile app. The image was accompanied with the caption: “Our leader the Mockingjay arrives on 9/10.”

It may be a slightly tenuous record – but Lawrence deserves some good news after her recent travails. Katniss is named highest-grossing action movie heroine by Guinness.

Mockingjay promises to have some extra Effie scenes for us. Great news for Effie fans! What do you think about the extra Effie scenes added to the movie that were not in the book?
