I was just contacted by CafePress about their newly-updated Hunger Games: Mockingjay gift site. They have some really incredible stuff! Team Peeta

There are no shortage of Team Peeta Shirts. You can get them in just about every color and style. I like black t-shirts so this one appealed to me. But you can also customize them to print on other colors.

Mugs

Although they have a lot of different Mockingjay-themed mugs, I tend to like travel mugs better. You can get a lot of the same things printed on either one. I like this one that says “I am the Mockingjay.”

Long-Sleeved Shirts

With the weather getting colder, long-sleeved shirts are more appropriate. They have these in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes. This “Our Leader the Mockingjay” shirt would be appropriate for just about anyone and comes in black or blue.

Pillows and Bedding

If you are looking for some decor items, they have over 90 different Mockingjay-themed pillows you can have customized! Choose from canvas, cotton, microsuede, burlap, or woven. They have some great quotes like “May the odds be ever in your favor” and “You love me. Real or not real?” This one with the emblem on fire is really awesome!

With over 30 different journals to choose from and at most of them under $15, these would make terrific gifts for any Hunger Games fan. Choose from logos, Mockingjay emblems, quotes, and more. Use them as a journal, diary, or even school notebook.

Are you looking for the perfect gifts for the Hunger Games fan in your life? Although there is not a lot of official Hunger Games movie merchandise out yet, we have managed to track down some great gift ideas!

Hunger Games Gifts

Hunger Games Books:

Most Hunger Games fans have already read the books but that doesn’t mean that they have their own copies. Amazon has a great Hunger Games Trilogy Hard Cover Boxed set for about $30 plus free shipping.

Some other related books are set to be released soon and you could pre-order them and include the description of the book with an “IOU” in the box to give as a gift. The World of Hunger Games will be a “richly illustrated, full-color guide” to Panem and the Hunger Games participants. It is set to be published February 7, 2012, and can be pre-ordered for $9.84. The Hunger Games: Official Illustrated Movie Companion is also set to come out that day and can be pre-ordered for $10.39.

Mockingjay Items:

If you haven’t read the Hunger Games yet but are looking for Hunger Games gifts, understand that the Mockingjay is a big deal. Anything that you can get with a Mockingjay on it would be cool. In particular, the Mockingjay Pin would make the ultimate gift for a Hunger Games fan, and you can get them through Amazon:

Unfortunately, they can be hard to find because the only ones that have been made so far were the ones that coincided with the Mockingjay book release. Get them quickly for $25 as the price is likely to go up as they become more scarce. Other items with the Mockingjay on them from the release of the book include earrings and a bracelet and can be found at Amazon.

Posters:

A number of new Hunger Games posters have been released in the last few weeks including the official Movie poster with the Mockingjay on fire. In addition, you can get 8 different characters individually or as a Collector’s Set.

Hunger Games Shirts:

Although CafePress used to have a number of really cute shirts, they were all pulled and we suspect it was for copyright violations. Hopefully similar to Twilight we will see an official Hunger Games shop open there soon so that we can start customizing our own Hunger Games shirts. In the meantime, you can get Hunger Games shirts released last year from Amazon.

Odds and Ends:

Until we start seeing more official Hunger Games merchandise released for the movie after the first of the year, your best bet for other merchandise would be to check out eBay. Hunger Games Poster Set

NECA has released a new limited edition Hunger Games poster set. The set contains 8 posters of the characters from the movie including Cato, Effie, Haymitch, Cinna, Gale, Katniss, Peeta, and Rue.

There are only 2500 of these sets available, and they will likely sell out quickly. These would make a perfect Hunger Games Christmas gift! The set comes in a portfolio case with a certificate of authenticity from NECA.

Visit Amazon to see the entire poster set and you can also get the posters individually. The set is selling for $59.99 but purchased individually would end up costing between $80 and $200!

Scholastic has announced a new Hunger Games: Collector’s Edition that will be released as a special gift edition for the holiday season. The box is available for pre-order from Amazon right now for $20.56 and is eligible for free Super Saver Shipping. If the price goes down before the release date, Amazon will only charge you the reduced lower price.

We do not know much yet about the gift set except that the set will include a “special slipcase featuring exclusive new mockingjay artwork.” We’ll post more as we get more information.

The Hunger Games: Collector’s Edition will be released November 28, 2011.
